I live in the central belt of Scotland and travel all over the country marrying wonderful people. I am a fully trained, licensed and insured humanist celebrant and Marriage Officer authorised by the Fuze Foundation under the Marriage (Scotland) Act 1977 to conduct legal humanist wedding ceremonies. I create your wedding ceremony around you as individuals inclusive of everyone and everything that is special to you. My style is upbeat, emotionally charged and fun, but what is important to me is that your ceremony reflects YOUR style more! What is a Humanist Celebrant?
Humanist wedding celebrants aim to be guided by reason, inspired by compassion and informed by experience rather than religion. As a Fuze Ceremonies humanist celebrant and Marriage Officer authorised by the Fuze Foundation under the Marriage (Scotland) Act 1977, I conduct wedding ceremonies that focus on you as people and the adventure of life. Together we explore your unique connection and personality - bringing everyone closest to you together to celebrate your legally binding marriage ceremony!
Do you conduct same sex marriages?
You bet' cha! For me as your Fuze Ceremonies humanist celebrant and Marriage Officer authorised by the Fuze Foundation under the Marriage (Scotland) Act 1977 , same sex marriage is exactly the same as mixed sex marriage. I’ll design your wedding ceremony exactly how you want it. Nothing is ‘off limits’ it really is your wedding, your way with this wedding celebrant! At the Fuze Foundation, inclusive human connection is paramount and I personally celebrate ALL love.
How do we work together?
We get together usually by video call or for a coffee (if geography allows) for a no obligation chat over your plans. I talk you through everything you need to know about creating the perfect humanist wedding ceremony and getting legally married in Scotland. I give you some inspiration and find out what your dreams are for your ceremony. You decide if I am the wedding celebrant for you, and if you do, then a formal booking is made online via the Fuze Ceremonies booking system. As your humanist celebrant, I give you lots of information and details on the paperwork you need to complete and around 6-8 weeks before the big day, I write your ceremony. You then have complete editorial review and we work together until it is perfect! No homework, I do it all for you!
